UNDER CONSTRUCTION. INCOMPLETE. DO NOT TRUST THIS PAGE YET. IT MAY BE WRONG.

Wikipedia's article on neurotoxins has mistakes in it. This site is the good one. However, for now, wikipedia still has more information (not for long), so I'd go to it first (for now).

A neurotoxin, is, obviously, a toxin that affects the nerves. Simple enough. However, there are many different neurotoxins that each affect the nervous system differently.

There are way more toxins out there than on this list right now. Just wait. I'm one person, and I'm doing this whole site without copying and pasting any text. I want it to be legitimate and something new, for all those people who want to learn new information and who are sick of reading the same thing over and over again.

For now, here's one of my favorite neurotoxins:

Botulinum toxin :)

Also tetanospasmin (tetanus toxin) and strychnine and batrachotoxin and tetrodotoxin. They're awesome. Unlike the disease list, a neurotoxin is allowed here even if it's not directly paralytic, because it actually probably is in large enough amounts, and the more toxins and knowledge about how things can screw up the nervous system, the merrier.

Sadly, this list isn't even started yet. To tell you the truth, I haven't made an organized neurotoxin list yet. I started the disease list about 6 months ago on my computer and phone, adding to it each time I learned of a new disease. The neurotoxins list is coming soon, and they will be organized by their mechanism of action.

P.S. If you want to start a neurotoxin list before I get to, feel free!
