This is the origin molecule of the steroid structured neuromuscular blocking agents, much like the bis-benzyltetrahydroisoquinolines originate from tubocurarine. It comes from the plant Malouetia bequaertiana (anyone who knows how this properly pronounced, feel free to add the pronunciation because I have no idea).
